Exporting the data from GL to Other source

Hi Every one,

Generally we import the data from the other sources to General ledger modual, is it possiable to export data from General Ledger to Other sources(other then oracle applicatuon).if possiable please guide how to do that.

Hello.

Sure it is possible and there are several ways of doing it. One of them is to use the File/Export menu option when you have opened a window containing data lines. The data will be exported to Excel.

You can also use sqlplus and spool the result of a query to a csv file, which you can later open with other application like Excel.

You can also connect to the database via ODBC and export the tables data to Access.
