We are scheduled to go live on R12 in June. We will be using iExpense to create expense reports. We have a requirement that some users be able to create expense reports for other users. In other words, the Administrative Assistant should be able to create an expense report on behalf of the department head. There is a way to use a "Proxy" but I see a problem with this. One user can "Proxy" to the other user account, but when this happens, the original user can see ALL of the responsibilities for the new user. So if Sally the Admin "Proxies" to Bill the department head, she can see all of Bill's responsibilities. This causes problems when we start talking about Self-Service HR. Sally would be able to see Bill's pay info, SS#, birth date, etc.
Is there a way for one user to create an expense report on behalf of another user without having all of the access of the other user? If so, what setup is necessary?...
