When posting to GL then individual Employee's Loan

Post by m_muzamil_khan »

Currently I am facing one problem for the issuance of advance salaries from HR department and deduct it from their respective payroll.

For This purpose, HR department will attached a Advance Salary element to that employee, run the quick pay after selecting the specific element and Transfer to GL after running the costing / prepayments processes.

when we import in GL then employee account is not hitting only the Costing centre will hit.

I need that Employee local ledger account should hit.

Do any one have any advice or solution?

Kind Regards,
Muzamil

Hi dear

if you want the employee account to be hit, first please answer these question>
- In the Cost allocation do you have segment for employee.
- In the GL Account flex field do you have segment for the employee.
- have you make mapping between the cost allocation KFF and Gl account KFF.
- In the Advance salary element have you defined the same
please come back with this information

Hi,

I checked the Flex Fields and found that Employee segment is not defined in both Cost Allocation as well as GL Account FlexField.

Now I don't know how to use Advance Salary Element.

I think Advance Salary element will resolve my problem because I need to pay Advances from HRMS module and Tranfer to GL.

Please advice about Advance salary element configuration and process with dummy data.

Many Thanks,

I am waiting....
