How to remove Salvage value of an Asset

How to remove Salvage value of an Asset

While creating the asset by mistake I had put salvage percentage(5%) of the asset. We have already run the depreciation for the last one year.Now we want to remove the salvage % of the asset. How to do that and what would be the financial impact on the asset.
