I have a current requirement to create a OU.
Requirement is very simple, but little tricky to handle.
thought to share and get some suggestions/response from you.
Version 11i - I would like you all to respond for it if the case is is 11i as well as in R12.
Currently we have an operating unit and we want to add one more OU.
Condition :
Employees of the new OU should not be seeing the data of the existing OU.
Already they have a separate HR Organization for the other group of employees which is under a new Business Group. Under this HR Org,
they are using the Payroll for the New OU.
Some suggestion given to them earlier was to go with a New Business Group. where as the user says he will be using the same LE and SOB.
How to go ahead in creation of the OU?
Is there any impact of HR Organization and BG? Can any one explain me what happens if I change the BG of the 2nd group of HR Organization?
I prefer to go ahead with the Single BG and LE.... with 2 HR Org and 2 OU's.
I want to know what to do with the HR Org and the Payroll transactions?
What are the other details I have to check before proceeding?
