Dear Emanuel,

Apart from the white paper on metalink ( 726774.1), i do not see any other documents explaining about the usability of report manager in FSG reports.

Dears,

Any can give us the download link for Excel Template Editor, because while generating the template :

''
Exception Name: oracle.apps.bne.exception.BneFatalException
Cause: Microsoft VBScript runtime error: 429 - ActiveX component can't create object
Action: Assure Excel Template Editor is installed, and check your browser's security by navigating to the Internet Explorer Tools menu -> Internet Options -> Security tab. Make sure the correct Web content zone is selected and press the Custom Level button. Set "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe" to "Prompt". Press the Return button on this page to restart the document creation process. Select "Yes" when prompted to accept an ActiveX control to complete the process.

The main advantage that it will give drill down feature on your FSG reports.

While the error you can resolve,
BneFatalException: VBScript runtime error: 429 - ActiveX component can't create object [ID 463027.1]

Please enable the active x settings for the "Trusted Sites" and try the template editor again.
To do this for Internet Explorer:
1. Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options.
2. Choose Security tab.
3. Choose Custom Level.
4. Ensure that "Initialize and Script ActiveX controls not marked as safe" is set to 'Prompt'.
5. Close all Internet Explorer sessions, then re-open.
