Fixed Assets - R12

Hi,

I have implemented Fixed Assets in R12 but i am facing with some errors while running of depreciation.

While running Depreciation, Generate Accounts Program is failed and returned following Error Message:-

Flexbuilder failed to generate a new code combination
Cause: The code combination for the generated segment values does
not exist and cannot be created because it would contain invalid
segment values.
Action: Check the account segment value you are using to generate a
new code combination.
The Asset Number is 12548
The Asset Id is 12548
The book_type_code parameter is CORP
The account type parameter is NBV_GAIN
The account segment parameter is 900
The account CCID parameter is 0
The default ccid parameter is 1120
The distribution_ccid parameter is

Based on above error, i have find out the Distibution ID and searched in gl_code_combinatons table.

But, The segments of values is picking with other Structure KeyFlexfield values in gl_code_combinations table instead of my Structure Keyflexfield.

How the system is picking other Structure Keyflexfield.
Is there any setup for avoiding of this error?

What are the key points for implementing of Fixed Assets in R12

Please help me on above issue.

Hi,

Please check once again your setup process.

1. Asset Calendar--Either you are given same period names as your Gl calendar or not?

2. Asset book- Assigned correct ledger or not.

I have checked my setup indetail like Asset calendar,account setup,ledger,categories etc...
