No active responsibilities

Hi All

Got a really horrible problem!

When I give a user a new responsibility, the user can navigate to it via the core java form.

However.........

This tends to take about 24 hours to appear on any web extension and so my new uers can't log into anything web based (including login page). The error they get is that they have no active responsibilities.

Has anyone else incurred this as Oracle don't have a fix at hand?

Can you put any error appear when user try to sign-in after you change reponsibility. As I understand you said after 24hrs user is able to get in.
Do you bounce-back servers at night? so actually user is o.k after application server tier gets restarted or metadata repository database gets restarted for backup purpose? in either case please provide some detail about given scenarios.

Note: If you are using Windows for front end, you can enable Java tracing though control panel for checking at which stage you are facing problem.
