Using SQL
Login as apps user from SQL Plus?
How? Not documented.
Request assistance with the above 2 questions.
Thanks
What is the password to enable diagnostics?
To view the structure of any table just login with the authorized user using sqlplus and on prompt user describe command (you can use 1st 4 character) ,
SQL > desc gl_interface
SQL > desc gl_interface
Oops !! Adding one more issue to the same context,
Same section : - 15. Interface.
The document does not show the steps to access the GL_Interface structure - page 100 section 1 and page 103 section 2.
Thanks

Admin said the right thing it needs the Apps password ; however you can also disable it as described below
Go to Profile/System and enter %util% in the Profile box. Click Find and a
new window appears.
Look at Utilities:Diagnostics. and set its value to 'Yes'
If it is set to 'Yes', you do not need to
enter a password when trying to go into Help/ Tools/ Examine. If it is set
to 'No', then a password is required to view Examine.

Thanks to each one of you for responding. The apps password worked so ONE from the ABOVE three questions solved. Two remain.
I know that Oracle database 9.2.0 is part of the installed software ON THE SERVER ......... NOT ON LOACL MACHINE.
Sorry for presenting myself so nieve. ( for possible Documention )
Following the documentation.
1> Oracle 11i is installed on Machine 'A' and Linux as OS
2> Machine 'B' client machine is setup by cables to acces the server.
3> We use the browser to access the EBS : http://vision.****.com:8000
4> We get the EBS LOGIN SCREEN
5> Not ACCESS screen to database? or SQL PLUS.
