i want to know about the transaction types in ar i have gievn u the client product and the way they want to classify their revenue i want ur suggestion and advise in this regards plz help me out

PRODUCTS ARE
INJECTIONS NAME: A,B.C,D
PILLS NAME X,Y,Z
INSTRUMENTS NAME A1,A2
ADVISORS NAME ZIA , ALI

NOW CLIENT WANT TO KNOW THAT
REVEUNE GENERATED FROM ALL MAIN CATAGORIES
REVEUNE GENERATED FROM ZIA AND HOW MUCH INJECTIONS & PILLS INSTRUMENT HE HAS SOLD
INSTRUMENT INJECTION ALONE
INDIVIDUALLY FROM
FROM ZIA AND ALI

Hi all
I purpose of placing this query is i want to know that why we use have different transaction type means i have seen that some classes is being formed in the transaction type then
what is the purpose of it,
what benefit we can derive from such classification.
As these product and revenue finaly has to close in gl from FSG we can have such type of reports.

with the best of my knowledge it is used to catagories revenue internally in ar on the basis of this there are some built in reports available through which we can know that how much revenue we have generated from a particular stream.....a good reply will resolve your query
