Hi,

I'm also getting same error, whenever i am creating new requisition.

Before accessing the PO Module.

You need to Setup these things.

1)Item creation in Inventory Module.
2)Supplier creation in PO module.
3)Buyer setup in PO module.

Then you can try to create new requisition.

If any queries please let me know.

Hi,

Create an Employee and assign the employee in the Buyer Screen.

Log in to Sysadmin responsibility --> query your user name

in the top right hand corner assign the buyer to the person name.

Then only you can enter a requisition of PO in the Purchasing module.

Hi Siva Sankar and Ramk,

For the error message u are getting u need to follow the steps below.
1. In Purchasing Responsiblity setup>personnel>employee. Here u have to define a JOB and The POSITION First.
2. To to HRMS People>Enter and Maintain. Create new employee. Lastname(same as your user name with which u r logged in), first name, gender, Action(create emloyement), birth date, social security no(any no). Go to Assignnment. Enetr Organisation (Business group), group(any), Job, Location, save it.
3. In System Administrator. Query your name, Attach the Person on the right which u created in HRMS.
4. In purchasing Setup>personnel>buyer. New buyer. add you name in Buyer and save it.
After this u will be able to create PO and Approve it.
Hope this helps.

Thx,
Raj
