Setup the Retro Pay (Enhanced)
1- go to the function area maintenance window.
- be sure that preinstalled triggers "incident register"
- defined the Business Group
- enable the legislation "SA"
2- select the backdate change is an event in oracle payroll
to trigger the retro pay calculation.

Dear Ali
thanks for your sharing with us. Oracle will support the retro pay enhanced because this have automatic creating Element and assignment set for the user, and have retro pay notification report.
that is why retro pay enhanced better

RetroPay is the Incremental difference when Government Policy changed, Is it? I want to ask what effect in GL when we pay back dated or retro pay to all of the employees? It goes into current period or in the previous periods

Thanks

Dear alruwaished,
Yes you are right because "RetroPay by Element is recommended RetroPay process for most localizations, and is required if you use Enhanced RetroPay."
