Balance Dimensions

Can I get detailed information on different dimensions like ASG_ITD, _YTD,PROC_PTD and when these imensions should be used. Under what circumstances these dimensions should be decided. Can I also know how to print the value of a formula which is returning to indirect results??

Could anyone tell me the difference between ASG_Run and ASG_PTD and when to use each?

ASG_RUN holds the value processed in the current payroll run.. where as the pTD hols the value for the current period ... the diffreence comes when there are multiple payroll run in the same period.
