Dear Friends,

We have the following requirements i want to confirm if this is possible in oracle hrms r12. we want to distribute the cost of an employee to multipple organizations and we have done all the necessary setup and result we have got is as follow after running the costing process.
Element Name Input Value Name Cost COdes Debit or Credit Costed Value
Basic Salary Pay Vlaue 010.0608.3001.123456789.0000000.00000.0000 Debit 3000
Basic Salary Pay Vlaue 010.0609.3001.123456789.0000000.00000.0000 Debit 3000
Basic Salary Pay Vlaue 010.0608.3001.123456789.0000000.00000.0000 Credit 6000

My question is How can we distribute the (Credit) amount also like the Debit amoutn, Or is this the default and standard process from Oracle.

THanks Friends in Advance.

Hi,

Please try this:

Assignment->Others->Costing

percentage wise distribution.

Hi Jamal,

Payroll Costing is a standard process. While linking the element, you need to give the costing information for the element and balancing account information. When the element is processed.. Debit and Credit for the same element are generated. When costing process is run.. these costs are distributed. If you want to assign an employee to multiple Organizations.. possible. People windoe->Assignment->Costing.
Here you assign employee to 'N' number of Orgns by providing Cost center value and percentage basis. Total percentage of assignment of costing should equal to 100. After this.. you will run payroll processes.

Hi Jamal,
Think by distributing the cost centers in Assignment> costing window will distribute the Debit values only to different organs. If you get any solution for Credit/Balancing account distribution, please share with us also.
Thanks
