Hi All,

I have a problem in oracle order management.

I have checked the credit check box for a customer and credit limits are also set. Now when i book a sales order for this customer with an amount more than the credit limit, the sales order goes on hold but the order status becomes 'Booked'. I think the status should become 'On Hold'.

Can u help me with this...

Hi sumit

Please check the payment terms used with customer. in this payment terms you must check the flag credit check with yes.

Also you must assign the credit rule to transaction type used.

as per my knowledge, Status of sales order will not be changed to HOLD, it will remain as BOOKED and you can see hold details from following path.

Open sales order
click on actions
select additional details

if you want to find only orders on hold then open order organizer.
go to hold info tab
enter hold name
it will return all the sales orders

Ya u r right, the status will remain BOOKED and i can check the hold in additional order information.

about credit check it effect in sales order in flag its name is onhold
but when book sales order and order value more than limit
the sales order change status to book and onhold flag with yes
