Hi all,
[DB: 8.1.7, Apps: 11.5.7, Discoverer Viewer:4.1.48.06.00 ]
I get an error running a discoverer report for the 2nd time. It only occurs with one of my discoverer reports, so it's supposed that the cause could be in relation with the query of that report or something similar, because.. I have very similar querys in other Discoverer reports that work fine.. so may be you can post any idea:
- When I execute for the first time it works OK. When I chage any parameter, it appears an error.
-I set the log parameter to true in the viewer41.properties and in the log file, it appears:
[21/05/2007 17:21:42:829 CEST] viewer/oracle.discoiv.Disco4iv: Exception stack: DiscoNetworkException java.io.IOException: Peer disconnected socket - Nested exception: org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE: java.io.IOException: Peer disconnected socket minor code: 0 completed: No
null
I've searched in Metalink and tried the solutions given at notes:
- 183491.1 ( Post Installation Documentation Update for PJR.C Customers Using Discoverer 4i ) : In this note it appears the same error, but I've tried to increase the parameter even to 120 secs without success...
- 245090.1 (Changing the Discoverer Viewer 4i Layouut Causes Broken Pipe Error In The Jserv.log )
- 309545.1 (Discoverer 4i Viewer Errors With "Internal Server Error" )
- 256607.1 (Discoverer Viewer 4i Fails With Server Error On Long Running Queries )
- 270075.1 (Launching Discoverer 4i Viewer Gives Internal Server Error, Plus Works Fine )
that are in relation with the amount of memory dedicated to the JVM, the DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS parameter, certain order lines at .properties file, etc etc...
but without success....
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jose.
