terminal closed down suddenly

Does anybody had any experience while their doing their job in terminal then the terminal window closed suddenly? Why did it happened and how to solve it?
It happened to me several times when I run adautocfg.sh so I didn't know whether the process had done or not and I'd to repeat the process again while hoped it didn't closed. It never happened before, just recently.
