Hi
Vannila Implementation means you are using standard application features without any Customization to application. ( Remember you may still customize reports)
BigBang is Implementation of all modules in Oracle E-Business Suite
Hope this helps

Hi Sivakumar,
Had a doubt.....
I was under the impression that there were two ways in which the project can be rolled out: Big Bang and Pahase wise.
In bigbang all the modules(that are being implemented) go live at the same time while in phase wise roll out modules go live in a phase by phase manner.
Could you please let me know if I understand it correctly.
Thanks
Piyoosh

Hi
Big Bang implementation
A term used in ERP implementation projects to characterize an implementation strategy in which all modules that, according to plan, shall be implemented are implemented simultaneously. The alternative is a phased implementation strategy in which the modules will be implemented one after another. However, these terms do not necessarily indicate whether all sites/locations will be affected or, rather, one after another. Thus, four possibilities exist: (1) Global Big Bang: all modules are implemented in all sites simultaneously; (2) Local Big Bang: all modules are implemented in one site simultaneously; (3) Global phased implementation: modules are implemented one after another in all locations simultaneously; (4) Local phased implementation: modules are implemented one after another in one site/location only.
Hope this helps
