when I tried to access the E-Business suite thru solution Beacon in IE7 browser,..the browser is crashing.
When i tried to open in the Fire Fox Browser I am getting the following message even after I installed the Jinitiator that they have mentioned.
Any suggestion are appreciated
In order to access this application, you must install the Oracle JInitiator Plugin version 1.3.1.21. To install this plugin, click here to download the oajinit.exe executable. Once the download is complete, double-click the oajinit.exe file to install the plugin. You will be prompted to restart your browser when the installation is complete.

Hi All
I'm using the online instance as suggested on this forum. I've been able to follow the notes on 11i to page p49. I can't seem to be able to login with the username/password I created (p50/51)
Has anone used the notes with the online access and had any success in logging inwith their created resposibility.
any help would be appreciated.

i've some problems and i'd be grateful if u solved it to me .....
when i try to log in with the username and password u provided i get :
" ERROR : Login failed. Please verify your login information or contact the system administrator. "

Let me make it easy,
Open the following link,
http://vis11510ext5.solutionbeacon.net/ ... lLogin.jsp
scroll down to bottom of the page and click on,
New User Registration
Provide your name and email address (email address should be correct as password will be sent on this email.
Enter an eight digit CSI number which is provided by Oracle on having metalink support and if you don't have just a trick that enter any 8 digit combination as it is not validated.
Submit and an email will be sent to you with userid and password.
Now no need to ask any login or password.

Beacon Users,
I have a situation in the Beacon apps, when trying to save the line item in OM, the following error message appears and prevents saving the line item.
Please enter a value between and 50.
--------------------------------------------------------------
APP-FND-01388: Cannot read value for profile option FND_DEVELOPER_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.
using item CM13139 and Corporate price list, when this happens.
