Hi Friends,

Can Reorder Point Planning (ROP) be set at Sub Inventory level?

I checked with few experts and they say that ROP can be set at Org level only. But Oracle Inventory User guide says this..."If you have set the Planning Level to Organization, the report generates requisitions or jobs according to the item?s Make/Buy flag. If you have set the Planning Level to Subinventory, the report generates only requisitions".

This means that we can set this level. Where we could set this ??

Hi,

I dont think we can do Reorder Point Planning at Subinventory Level.

Because I havent seen any option where we can set it at subinventory level.

Me too wondering how they mentioned it in the user manual.

Let us wait and see if other members have some knowledge on this and clear our doubt.

Hi,

You cannot perform ROP planning at sub-inventory level. They may have just given the functionality of the re-stock with out taking care of the functional area. Bec you can see the same description for the re-stock attribute in Min-Max.

Wanted to know if Oracle has some place (weblink/email) where we could point them out with such things?
