SIT User Hook

Hi ..
Please I need your help..
I want to develop a SIT user hook for SIT validation, and I need the SIT API. I found hr_sit_api but this invoked after the approval cycle which is inappropriate for inputs validation.
Does anyone know the API that I must use?
