Can U tell me how can I learn oracle in professional way? Recently I am using oracle 6i and oracle 8.0.5 there is any difference in Oracle Application 11.5.10.2 and oracle 6i &oracle 8.0.5.

Developer 6i, 9i = Development Tools
Database 8i,9i,10g = Databases
Oracle Applications = Application (ERP)

Oracle Applications is a bunch of applications developed by Oracle like Oracle Fianancials, Inventory, Purchasing etc while using their own development tools Developer and Database. Hope it is enough info to just get understanding.

if I install Oracle applications which things we required.
I mean operating system and others and can you give me any idea to use this product.
