What I have to do when I want to merge these customers with the following conditions..sorry for writing all this bcoz I am at the client site
and i dont have time to delve it myself so plz reply soon

Site name = Karachi bill to With

Site name = Karachi bill to With
Customer name =Shell

I-e KARACHI HAS TO BE REPLACE WITH LAHORE</span id='hl'>

6-<span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>merge all site of BP with shell</span id='hl'>
7-what is the difference between <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>party merge </span id='hl'> and <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>account merge</span id='hl'>
8-While defining a customer a <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>check box </span id='hl'> of <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>identifying customer </span id='hl'> is there what is the purpose of it
9-is it possible that one site appears in the cutomer window which can be <span id='hl' style='background-color: yellow'>utilize for all purposes</span id='hl'>

1? SAME CUSTOMER WITH DIFFERENT SITES

In this case ur customer BP with Karachi bILL to with will remain and ur lahore ship to will disappear as u r merging site Lahore in Khi so u can later change any site level changes but header will remain same BP.

2. DIFFERENT CUSTOMER WITH DIFFERENT SITES

IN THIS CASE U WILL BE CAREFUL WHETHER U ARE MERGING BP INTO SHELL OR SHELL INTO BP THE site level info of BP will exist in case of BP into SHELL CASE AND VICE VERSA.

SAME IS IN CASE 3.
REST I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO REPLY

Ur merging same customer sites with different usages which is not possible u can merge only same usage sites e.g ship to to ship to ,bill to to bill to and ur repeating this mistake in each of ur cases, if u want to delete the old customer site check the delete after merge but be careful it will erase all info from data base so no audit trail now press the button merge

U have choosen the word replace which I think is not possible how ever there is one Option available of copy site it will copy the site and if u think the site which u want to replace can in another go copy in to first one, check it out and let me know I am myself confused but a very good case
