what r shared entities?

waht are the shared entities in fiancial 11i...
plz let me know i come across this one in oracle fundamentals izo-200
exam..but i dont waht are they?

hi Racle
shared entities are those oracle apps entities which are owned by one apps say module but shared by other apps modules as well for example when u create suppliers in purchasing module (as suppliers are owned by purchasing) when u need to make payment to ur suppliers u will open payables modules and u will query same suppliers there to make payment hence u see one entity shared by two different modules. similar is the case with SOB, Item master , currencies , customers( owned by Receiables module) etc.
