HOW TO CANCEL A PO - URGENT REQUEST

HI ALL,

AT MY CLIENT THE INITIATOR OF PO has raised a PO and submitted/ forwarded it to his boss for on ward submission to final authority for approval, but PO is appearing in the log in of second level boss but he is un able to see PO in notification for on ward submission to final authority for approval , now he want me to cancel it and process a new PO for same purchase as all other POs are going well in this hierarchy( supervisor based)

please help me urgently

Search the PO then from Menu: Tools > Control. thanks

DEAR ADMIN

IN THIS CASE we can hold a PO but cant cancel it becz if we process new PO for payment and subsequently the 2nd level requestor gets notification for same in his log in he can approve that PO successfully even hold was there i just tried it in test without releasing hold from Menu>CONTROL he can approve the PO? CAN THE INITIATOR ALSO NOT CANCEL IT ?
