There are many open interfaces available in payables....
These interfaces are used as a measure to check the data before getting in to payables modules.... !
Few interfaces are...
Payable Invoice Open interfaces ... it allows to generate invoices from ERS, P Card, EDI , Invoice Gateway, external system etc..
Payables P Card open interfaces... to import lines of procurement cards
Payables Matching open interface .... for matching pur qty with invoices in payables... !

If there is payable related data feeded in non- oracle systems ,and if it is to be brought in to oracle payables module then payable open interface programme is useful.
Payable open interface brings payable data from non oracle systems to staging tables .Later this will be transfered into payables module.
