Receipt class accounts usage

Hi,
i need some clarification in receipt class. while defining recept
class banks window the below acoutns are mandatory while choosing
different remittance methods.
here i am mentioning those accounts could anybody give me usage of
those accounts .
1) Receipt conformation.
2) Remittance
3) Factoring
4) Short term debit
5) bank charges
6) un applied receipts
7) un identified receipts
on account receipts
9) un earned discount
10) earned discount.
