If you do a google search for Oracle Incentive Compensation, You can get the Implementation guide which contains the set up and around 13 different Business cycles to test and understand the Functionality.

I was working on it about two and half years back.

The basic funda is the Compensation is calculated based on a Plan element assigned to a Resource defined in CRM Resource Manager.

It is highly complex module and you can learn only by Practice and not enough materials available except User guide and Impl guide.
