to update serial number in wsh_delivery_details ta

I am using the wsh_delivery_details_pub.update_shipping_attribtues to update the serial number in wsh_delivery_details table .
But i am not able to update its succesfully completed but not updating the serial number.
I am working on 12i.
Can any one please help me out and can provide the solution.
