Q: is there a profile option to control past, current and future data entry in oracle HRMS.
This topic is very important for the following process:-
1- Security data entry.
2- Payroll run and retro pay setup.

Yes there is a profile option to control date track in HRMS module this profile option call (Date Track:Date Security) controls the way users can change their effective date as the following :

- <b>All</b> main the users can change to any date.
-<b> Past </b> main that the users can change to dates in the past only.
- <b>Present</b> main that the users cannot change their effective date.
- <b>Future</b> main that the users can change to dates in the future only

by this way you can control the data entry and retro pay effect and process
