Retained earnings journal entries?

At the year end General Ledger posts the net balance of all income and expense accounts from the prior year against your retained earnings account...that time what are journal entries created....?

By default system does not pass any journals. The balances are just carried forward and Retained Earning account balances are updated.

In case you want the system to create entries then there are closing process journals concurrent requests which are required to be run. But these requests are completely optional.
