Difference between Planned PO and Blanket PO

Hi Folks
I would like to know the main difference between Planned PO and Blanket PO.

Planned PO is created on the basis of planning module while standard PO is created by the user on the basis of Purchase Requisition.
Now the other term is Blanket Agreement and this is an agreement with the supplier on which organization agree on a certain rate of item(s) for a certain duration say for six months. If Blanket Agreement of a supplier is available then at the time of PO creation it will be applied and rates will be picked from this Blanket Agreement.
