Error info:

Dear Friends,
Help needed urgently.

Followed the doc 234783.1 installed all rpms and applied patch and rebooted my system

Instance Name : ERPP
hostname : devsvr.tmt.co.in

Control File is not created I get a error "Error code received when running external process. Check log file for Details"

Upon checking the Log File I found this Error

ALTER DATABASE RENAME GLOBAL_NAME TO ERPP.tmt.co.in

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-0208: database name is missing a component

Please revert your view where I am making the mistake.
