AP Trf to GL

Hi Gurus,
I have question related to data transfered from AP to GL.
Is there any setup or rule which restricts a user to change, manipulate the data after data being trfered from AP to GL, but he shuold be allowed to view data.
Early help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi Lucky,
The only way we can restrict the USER is by giving him View/inquiry only access or we can transfer the data with Post option yes from AP to GL, coz as long as the Journal is in Unposted status any one can modify the journal.

Hi Lucky,
Be inform that you must make sure that you must enable Freeze Journals for AP in the journal sources form.
If you enable this check box, journals from this source cannot be changed in the Enter Journals window. If you subsequently disable this check box, you can make changes to journals from this source.

Hi Kirti,
The way Hisham is explanation is correct way. In Gl set -> Source select Freeze Journals , this will restict to modify any subledger transactions in GL Journal Enter window.
