Creating Package for Payroll functionality

Fast forumula so limited to do all payroll functionality. what why am asking this question to help all member how working in HRMS and Payroll implementation.
What type of Package do you think it required for payroll functionality.
Can anybody share experiences and knowledge about this like

- Basic salary and other element proration.
- Accrual vacation plan proration.

And so on for any payroll and hr functionality
