Implementation Consideration In R12

Dear all,
I am going to Implementing the solution using Oracle Application R12, i want to ask you some things about the implementation. Organization structure; that is defined as the Company A is Holding Company and it has 3 more sub companies all these companies are handled by one chart of account. All the Assets are belong to holding company.
One Business Group
One Legal Entity
One Primary Ledger
One Operating Unit
One Master Inventory Organization and has different Slave INV Org
Initially i want to setup the GL and AP and Payroll then other modules
i need your help to configuring Accounting Flex field and there Segment Qualifier what i set according to the scenario above i mention all 3 companies has the same chart of account, currency, calendar and sub-Ledger accounting method is standard accrual. There Requirement is that they want separate separate Income Statement and at the Group level they want Balance Sheet. One Holding Company and 3 three are subsidiaries or sub companies. In future they also want to purchase the license of OPM Module. The most important thing is to be considered the accounting flex field. For this Scenario what should i select the accounting flex field structure.
I read in books that we done the setup of different companies within one chart of account, calendar and currency, how done this setup don't no.
