delete from interface

Hello

What are the consequences of deleting an invoice that was stuck in the autoinvoice interface, supposedly after clearing out the errors.

I don't get the benefit of deleting an invoice when we can create a credit memo!!!!

Can anyone please clarify this matter to me

Hi Racleoay

I think you can delete the invoice form interface tables using SQL plus or TOAD.

The auto-invoice program already delete the invoices from interface tables after transfer it to AR module.

Inquiry for your invoice you want to delete it then delete from interface table but you must re-work your work again.

I can't understand why are you interested to delete an invoice from the interface table? Any transaction inserted by any Oracle module in the interface should be handled through system and should not be deleted from interface table as the transaction has a source document which created it. Now if you are uploaded any data from out side the Oracle then you can update or delete the data. Correct me if I have not taken your point right. thanks
