GL Ledger flexifield - R 12

Hi all,

I have some doubts abouts new flexifield added in GL.

What is the exact purpose of GL Ledger flexified?

Where we use the GL Ledger flexifield?

I defined 3 segment of coa, once i compiled gl ldeger ff created automatically. bu i m not able to see first segment. my 3 segments are displaying with 2,3,4 number. Where is that ledger Segment????

HI,

In GL, Ledger FF is used on Recurring journal, Allocation journals etc. Ledger segment will read all your primary and secondary ledgers and you can create JE for different ledgers using Ledger FF available on those form.
