Hi Friends,

Can any one please explain that how to update HS (Harmonised System) Code for an Inventory Item?

Hi,

What do you mean by update HS code? How you have define HS Code for inventory item?

HS code generally defined as per category of item.

Example.

Say one spices like Red Chilli Ground has HS code "XYZ123"

Now there are 10 individual product under Red Chilli, like Chiil 50 gm pouch, Chilli 100 gm pouch and so on....

So there will be 10 inventory item code but if you want to record HS code for those items, you have to set "XYZ123" for all the product. So As per me it is better to use HS code as a category or a segment of category of inventory item category.
