Can you please detail out the steps in hiring an applicant as an employee in HR.

Hi dear vmds
The HR employment cycle depend in you base on lookup list you can create it as the following:
1- new Applicant.
2- Applicant (short list)
3- applicant for review list.
4- applicant under appointment.
5- applicant under first interview.
6- applicant under second interview.
7- applicant under offer acceptance.
8- applicant after printing offer for him
9- accept the offer.
10- employee
This list or more or lease depend in your company polices for the employment cycle.

Thank you for the information. Does the effectve date play any part in running through these steps i,e. do we need to insure that the Applicant date and the following steps should be spaced out in an order.

The People windows is date track and also the applicant window, please be careful when you are use the applicant status.
