STD to AVG Cost Conversion with open transactions

Hi All

I need a guidance to convert an organization costing method from standard to average which have an open trnasactions. This has to be done after upgrade to 11.5.10.2 from 11.0.3.

Even though it is not possible with standard functionality, is there any work around to meet this requirement. Please advice on the same asap.

Even if you get any trick to change the method, do you think you data will be valid? I believe you will have to reconfigure and upload new calculated rates and balances. Thanks
