How to maintain printer log on Linux?

Dear all,
How can I maintain printer log installed on Linux like:
user_name, document_name, no_of_pages and so on.

The Printer configuration tool allows users to configure a printer. This tool helps maintain the printer configuration file, print spool directories, and print filters.....

There will no such info in apps you need to have Printer Manager installed on server to do this job,
