Hi Folks,

Why the closing balances are showin for the below accounts in GL Trail balance report.

Beg. Bal Period Activity Closing Bal
AP Cash Clearing A/c $ -4,300 $ 79,100 $ 74,800
AP Trading A/c $ -86,558 $ -966 $ -87,525

Can any expert tell me whether it should be "0" value for Cash clearing as closing balance, since there is no uncleared payment document in AP? or it should show some balances?
Similarly for AP Trading A/c also.

Cash Clearing balance represents the Checks issued which are not yet reconciled.

Does your balance represents transactions that are reconciled also ?

Yes. please find the details are as below

Cash Clearing Account
begening balance -4,300
Period Activity 79.100
Ending Balance 74,800

There are no payment documents pending to be reconciled.
I checked the "cash in transit report" also in Cash Management.

Can you please explain me why it was showing the closing balance?
