I tried to install 11.5.10 but the installation bootstrap 100% and will say its copying the startcd to c:\rapidinstall, it gets to 100% and then terminates this is after successfully passing the pre installation checks. pls what could have caused this do u think the following might have cause the problem

i couldn't get visual studio 2005 so i used 2008
i used the same cygwin you used in the documentation but i do not have gcc & make to change cc & gnumake respectively in the cygwin bin folder.

i have make 3.81, can i used it with cygwin and how. Please can someone help me. Thanks.

one more thing, is the visual studio for win server different from the one for win xp. couldn't install visual studio on server 2003, it keep saying that mccore.dll not found.
