Printing File Type attachments from Oralce Apps

Hello,
I am trying to print file type attachments in a report. But there seems to be no direct way to do this and i am wondering if any one else has done this. I have few ideas but like to know if anyone else have accomplished this.
We are in 11.5.10.2 and our is Linux OS.
