Hi All,
Could anyone clarify on the setups of the liability account of the basic accounting in payables defined?

Hello.

Until APPS R11i, the Liability Account is defined in Setup/Option/Financials - Accounting. This field is required.
If you want to use different Liabilly Accounts for your suppliers you have to enter it in the supplier's sites, Accounting Area. This will override the Liability Account defined in the Financials Options.
