Not able to search Employee in Supplier search win

Hi,
When I am creating a expense report and making payment, I am able to choose employee as Trading partner and his Supplier Num. But when I am searching that employee in the supplier search window, I am not getting any results. I need help. I am unable to understand that how come payable is picking up the employee details as supplier while in supplier window it is not able to search that employee as supplier. Please help me in this regard. Its urgent as we have gone live with Oracle R12 Financials, HRMS, Puchasing, now this problem is stopping us doing any expense report for year end process.
