Hi,

I am trying to change (R12)Asset cost after completion of Run depreciation, but system is not accepting to change any asset details.

If it is 11i we can roll back the depreciation and make changes for the asset, how we can perform in R12 could any one tell me

Hi Anjan

Pls check your book control. Under Accounting Rules tab Please check Allow Amortized Changes is enabled or not.

Hi,

Allow amortization is disabled, but now we enabled and perform asset cost changes it showing "error message"

<u>"APP-OFA-48395": You cannot change cost of asset which is in extended depreciation </u>

As per R12 functionality it should allow to change but it is not working.

if any other setup issue please let me know.

Hi Anjan,

This is a Bug which we also faced.

You will need to raise an SR with Oracle for this.
