Hi can anyone please explain me the difference between Chargeable and Billable in oracle project costing?

Hi

If you want to track the cost of an expenditure item to a project then it is a chargeable item.

If the cost is reimbursed by the customer who is funding the project you set the expenditure item as billable.

As soon as You got the the work order signed it will become chargable ...

And when out of the total that portion of work which you have completed and got the sign off from the consultant will become billable
