Restricting a responsibility to view accounting

Hi Members,
Could somone explain how can we restrict a person using a particular responsibility from Viewing accounting ?for example in payables user or payment responsibility....and this needs to be done at responsibility level. This is in 11i

Hi,
This can be possible.
If you want restrict view accounting viewing.
1. Create the custom responisibilty and exclude the view accounting function.

I have tried to do the same was not successful, could you give the steps to accomplish this task?

Hi go to system admin
then go define -responsibility window
then quary the responsibility for which u want to restrict view accounting
then come below in the menu exclusion part
exclude the perticular menu or function from the responsibility
save and exit

GO TO SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
ADD FUNCTION "XLA: View Accounting Lines" in your MENU
